ACCA Kenya - Income and Expense Validation Webinar by KRA - 25 June 2026

Overview 

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is convening this webinar to engage taxpayers, stakeholders, and the public regarding an important change to the tax compliance framework, which is being implemented, with key provisions taking effect from 1st January 2026.

The purpose of this session is to create awareness and deepen understanding of the ongoing validation process that KRA is applying to income and expenses declared in both individual and non-individual income tax returns.

This change is aimed at strengthening tax compliance and ensuring that all declared income and expenses are accurately supported by valid electronic tax invoices, transmitted correctly with the buyer’s PIN where applicable, in line with the relevant provisions of the Tax Procedures Act and the Electronic Tax Invoice Regulations, 2024.
