In an informative and engaging presentation, Vicky Milner and Irene Bloch will highlight a range of interesting legal developments of which ACCA members in Jersey will wish to be aware.

 

Updates will be provided on a wide range of Jersey law developments, including company, private client, property, regulatory, employment and data protection law matters, with an introduction which will consider Jersey’s current economic position.

 

Vicky and Irene will also be looking into their crystal ball and discussing what may be coming over the horizon.

Viberts

Vicky Milner is a partner at Viberts and is widely recognised as the “go to” person for advice on Jersey employment and discrimination law. She is recognized as a member of the employment ‘Hall of Fame’ by The Legal 500. She also advises on a full range of related matters including workplace investigations, data protection and business licensing. Her experience includes successful litigation in ground-breaking areas, such as challenging the powers of the Jersey Employment and Discrimination Tribunal. She has acted as an expert witness on Jersey law in the High Court of Justice of England & Wales.

 

Irene Bloch is an Associate at Viberts and has been consistently recognised as a Recommended Lawyer in both the current and previous editions of The Legal 500. Irene advises on a broad range of local and cross-jurisdictional corporate and transactional matters. Her day-to-day work includes: the acquisition of local trading companies and businesses, dealing with loan, security and trust instrument documentation, company migrations and providing advice on all aspects of company law and procedure. Irene is fluent in English, French, and German, and also has a working knowledge of Dutch, Italian and Spanish which has turned out to be quite useful on many a cross-jurisdictional matter.

Fee

Fee: 55 GBP + VAT (66 GBP) per delegate

1.5 CPD units

1 hour of learning = 1 unit of CPD
