Getting ready for the new UK GAAP

Overview
This short session will consider the practical implications of the 2024 periodic review of UK GAAP which ushers in significant change for all UK GAAP appliers. What are the implications of the changes? What practical steps do you and your clients need to take to make sure they are ready to meet the new requirements? How can you help them to prepare? We will discuss common issues that may arise on transition.

Tax update to include budget proposals

Overview
The Budget will be held on October 30th and this session will cover all of the announcements along with an initial analysis of the impact for clients. The content will depend on the Chancellor! We will also cover other relevant areas including details of the changes to the taxation of non-domiciled individuals and furnished holiday let properties where we now have clarification of the previously announced proposals. Again, exact content may vary but this session will give you a review of all of the current tax issues.
