Is Your Business Ready for Auto-Enrolment?

The new Workplace Pension Scheme being enforced by the UK government; soon ALL businesses in the UK will have to comply with the Law, if your business is not ready for the changes, now is the time to act!
Archytas address the following points:
1. How will Auto-Enrolment impact on my business/cash flow?
2. When will MY business be affected by the new Legislation?
3. Where do I start? Who can I contact to help me?
4. How will I cope if I don’t have a HR department?
5. How can I avoid heavy fines being imposed by The Pensions Regulator?

Stephen Jackson will provide an essential update of changes in employment law affecting employers, covering topics including
• Using the employment contract to manage auto-enrolment
• Which ‘workers’ are covered by auto-enrolment
• Must know changes to unfair dismissal law and to employer rights
• What are ‘Protected Conversations’ and how not to use them
• Changes to Employment Tribunals and what it means for businesses

Richard Edwards
Managing Director and fully-qualified Financial Planner at Archytas Wealth Management. As well as driving the direction and culture of the company, I also work with ambitious individuals and businesses to prepare and apply their financial plans.
I approach all of my client relationships in the same caring and sensitive way; the foundation of every client relationship is built on trust. I listen to clients and try to fully understand and empathise with them, helping them to achieve their objectives.
Since 1995, I have honed my niche skills as an Investment Manager and Tax Planner and my role has encompassed cash flow management, education planning, retirement planning, investment planning, risk management and protection, tax planning, estate planning and succession planning for business owners.
A member of the Institute of Directors (MIOD), Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) and Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments CISI, I hold specialist qualifications in Inheritance Tax Planning and Discretionary Investment Management (Private Client Investment Advice and Management PCIAM) and am a Chartered Wealth Manager (CISI)

Michael Williamson
Director and Financial Planner at Archytas Wealth Management, I operate in Cardiff and the Cotswolds area and specialise in investment, tax and pension planning.
I started my financial services career working in the foreign currency trading team, for Merrill Lynch, at the Bank of New York, in London before leaving to become a fully-qualified independent financial adviser.
I am responsible, as part of the Board, for ensuring that our business runs as efficiently as possible so as to deliver the very best customer service to all of our clients.
A member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) and the PFS Personal Finance Society, I am passionate about being at the forefront of the financial services industry and genuinely want to help our clients and provide them with the best level of service and guidance.
Our industry is guilty of having a 'transactional' approach; clients are dealt with and then forgotten. In contrast, we believe the positive client relationships we foster and maintain completely define the strength of our business and the results we achieve.

Stephen Jackson
Stephen is a solicitor and principal of Jackson Osborne Employment Lawyers, a specialist practice with offices in Cardiff and Newport. With more than 16 years’ experience, much of Stephen’s practice involves advising company owners and SME’s on contract matters and helping them to avoid Tribunals. In addition to TUPE advice, recent work in the High Court includes obtaining orders to restrain breach of contract use of confidential information. Stephen is also well known for his high value discrimination work having in 2011 obtained the highest ever compensation award in Wales at nearly £400,000 and is currently engaged in a multi-million pound claim against DHL.
