Whilst the EU withdrawal bill was passed by Parliament in December 2019, arguably this was the “easy bit” of the whole BREXIT process as it constitutes, in practical terms, no more than a heads of agreement. The real challenges now faced are in overcoming political differences and uncertainties and the very real practical difficulties in achieving a satisfactory negotiated settlement during the transition period that will govern our future relations with the EU. This course considers the rocky road ahead and the impact on business planning and the domestic economy.
WHAT WILL YOU GET OUT OF IT?An understanding of the current brexit position and the outstanding issues to be resolved, along with a review of the risks to both the economy as a whole and possible sectoral trade impacts.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?Senior finance management and any finance and non-finance management and staffs involved in business planning and forecasting processes.
John McKenzie MBAIndependent lecturer and consultant
ACCA has been actively involved with the unfolding debate on sustainability since 1990.
Each year as an organisation we make moves towards a more ethically conscious approach. In line with this, Professional Courses are focusing on cutting the amount of paper printing we produce in 2020.
Professional Courses will no longer be printing hand-out materials. If you require a paper copy for your conference, these will be sent to an external printing company at an additional cost of £10.00 per conference/delegate. Digital hand-out materials will be available prior to each conference for free.
Please note: If you select a soft copy, you will not receive a hard copy of the paper materials when you attend the event. A soft copy (PDF) will be available to download on your account prior to the event.
Any bookings made within 10 working days before an event will automatically receive a soft copy of the materials.
