Join us to hear from Brendan Cull, Founder of, and Director at, Oxford Business Management Ltd, who will present a framework based on two of the three principles of cost management, to demonstrate your best chance of leading, or playing a significant role, in a successful cost management/reduction project.
Running an internal cost reduction/management project is full of pitfalls, from politics, to lack of clarity of purpose, to internal dissent, along with supplier constraints and issues. Fear of the impact on peoples’ jobs is a real driver of resistance, and needs to be engaged head on.
Cost management relates generally to three principle areas - people, processes, and price; of course more could be added as subsets. Brendan’s presentation will present a framework focusing on two of these principles – process and price.
The learning outcomes from this will include:•Questions to ask.•Areas to be aware of.•How to protect yourself, and the project, as it progresses.
If you want the best chance of leading, or playing a significant role in a successful cost management / reduction project, then this is a good starting point for you. The rest will be down to your drive, experience, and company culture.
