Overview

The levels of fraud activity in all sectors are still worryingly underestimated. A range of reasons exist for this but central within these reasons are separating of roles and responsibilities, a lack of quality counter-fraud training, and, uncertainties about which actions to take upon discovering fraud. But with unprecedented substantive and procedural financial crimes legislation now being in force the need to provide precision counter-fraud support to organizations and clients has never been greater.

Using accounting issues as a baseline standard, we offer an excellent and innovative course which draws together a range of applicable skill-sets in a cogent counter-fraud context.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Briskly but thoroughly appraise information and data to assess if fraud is present.
  • Demonstrate competence of detecting fraud and classifying the evidence.
  • Make informed decisions concerning fraud issues discovered during an audit or accounting process in challenging corporate situations.
  • Confidently and ethically incorporate any fraud activity into an accounting report.
  • Gain new skills and insight into case management.

Recorded on 04 November 2022.
