The “double whammy” of BREXIT implementation and the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in economic disruption and numerous adverse impacts to business at a scale which is almost unprecedented. There have been many difficulties in BREXIT implementation and too many areas where agreement is somewhat flexible in interpretation with the EU and the UK in a “stand-off” over critical parts of the negotiated Withdrawal Agreement. There is still no substantive agreement on services and many hidden barriers and obstacles to trade still exist. Covid-19 further created much business disruption and economic challenges and continues to present many ongoing uncertainties in terms of the effectiveness of its control and the ongoing disruptions and challenges still to be faced. This course considers the continuing rocky road ahead and the impact on business planning and the economic environment to be faced.
Join us to gain an understanding of the current economic and business disruptions brought about by BREXIT and Covid-19, the future direction of these impacts, along with a review of the risks and possible sectoral trade impacts
