Steve Plaskitt, Tait Walker
David Adams, Archers Law LLP
Steve Plaskitt, Partner at Tait Walker Corporate Finance, joined the firm in July 2002, becoming a partner in 2005. He previously spent seven years working at Ernst & Young in Newcastle upon Tyne, and before that worked for other leading independent firms of accountants, having qualified as a chartered accountant in 1994.
Steve specialises in all aspects of corporate finance including disposals, acquisitions, management buy outs, fundraising, due diligence and valuations. He advised the BVCA 2010 deal of the year, and has been nominated as corporate finance adviser in the north east of England in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
The expertise of David Adams, Partner: Head of Corporate / Commercial at Archers Law LLP, lies in the areas of corporate finance and corporate/commercial law. He deals with business clients of all types including SME's and high net worth business acquisitions, mergers and company re-organisations.
Dave has experience of drafting commercial contracts including for supply of goods and services, franchise and distribution agreements, agreements for online suppliers, as well as partnership and shareholder agreements.
With some prior experience in the commercial property area of law, Dave often advises clients (including institutional lenders) upon lending and security for business acquisitions with a heavy property element. He particularly enjoy the technical aspects of commercial law and combining those with practical solutions while building relationships with clients and professional contacts.
