Conflict Resolution & Dealing with Difficult Clients
Speaker: Margaret Zuppinger, Margaret Zuppinger Partnership
Monday 18 March 2013 - Village Hotel, Swansea SA1 8QY
The pattern of relationships has altered and therefore the strategies we need to manage the people we come into contact with need to alter as well. Nowhere is this more important than when managing conflict and challenging behaviour. This leads us to consider one basic question: How can you find constructive ways of resolving conflict so that people are able to express and work through their differences without the risk of or necessity to damage one another and relationships with others? This session aims to offer some strategies to help you negotiate your way through this potential minefield unscathed ...
What will I get out of this session I can use straight away?
- An understanding of how you feel about conflict and handling challenging people
- Recognition of how to prevent conflict escalating
- An appreciation of the key stages of conflict resolution
- A 5 step guide to preparing for significant conversations

Who am I? I am a learning and development consultancy based in the North West of England and operating throughout the UK, which I run with my fellow director Tony Zuppinger. I am a motivational speaker, coach and also an author.
Who have we worked with? Margaret Zuppinger Partnership Ltd has supported and developed leaders and their teams from a diverse range of public and private sector organisations, professions and industries throughout the UK.
Our bottom line: We believe passionately in supporting people to become the best they can within their chosen professions. We encourage them to do so with high impact, inspirational, interative training and consultancy interventions.
How do we deliver what you need? What we aim to do is to close the gap between what people in organisations and companies currently do and what they need to do to deliver the organisational or company outcomes. We therefore adapt our training message to the culture and the context of the organisations and the companies we are working with - each intervention is bespoke. We deliver our training independently and also in collaboration with others.
