Programme:
Divorce law changes regularly depending on the latest Court rulings. It is therefore imperative that you keep up to date. As a financial adviser you will often be the client's first port of call when they are facing a separation - this seminar will help equip you with the essential information you need to know.

This legal briefing will examine ways in which you can assist your client if and when they are faced with the prospect of separation. It will enable you to be involved and provide valuable assistance during the process. (It is not a presentation about Forensic Accounting.) There will also be ample time for questions with our experienced divorce lawyers.

Who Should Attend?:
All professional advisers are invited to attend, including accountants, IFAs, personal banking advisers and financial planners.

Topics to be Covered:
1. The procedure for the divorce
2. The art of completing Form E and the process of financial disclosure
3. The principles applied in financial cases
4. An overview of current case law
